How to: Save a table design.
Solution:
In the Table Design view, select the 'File' menu and select 'Save'.
NOTE: If the Database window is not active, activate the Database window.
Do the following in the Table Design view:
1) Select the 'File' menu and select 'Save'. (If the table has been saved before, the design changes are saved and no dialog box appears. If the table is being saved for the first time, the Save As dialog box appears.)
2) If the 'Save As' dialog box appears:
a) Type a name for the table in the 'Table Name' box.

b) Click 'OK'.
NOTE: Data typed in records in the Datasheet view is saved automatically by Access, but the design or layout must be saved by the user or changes will be lost.
